Best ways to reduce noise from Forester roof rails?

Hi everyone,

I recently installed roof rails on my Subaru Forester for bikes and luggage, but at highway speeds I’m getting noticeable wind noise. I’ve tried tightening all the bolts and checking alignment, but it still makes that whooshing sound.

Has anyone found good ways to reduce or eliminate roof rail wind noise — like specific trim pieces, foam inserts, or aerodynamic attachments? I’m curious what solutions other club members have tried and what worked best.
